RAD Joins LoRa Alliance®
Tel Aviv, March 29, 2021 – RAD, the industry pioneer in Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Edge Computing solutions, today announced it has joined the LoRa Alliance®.
RAD’s SecFlow Industrial IoT Gateway with LoRaWAN® and Edge Computing presents an all-in-one solution for large-scale automated networks for smart cities, smart energy, smart agriculture, connected industry, and building automation. It securely connects and aggregates smart meters, sensors, CCTV cameras, and more over any network, and allows remote unified management and smart threat response. Using agile Edge Computing capabilities, the customizable SecFlow hosts multiple containers for rapid and secure delivery of new networking and non-networking IoT applications, such as LoRaWAN® and PLC.
“We are very excited to join the LoRa Alliance®,” said Ilan Tevet, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at RAD. “Such ecosystems are very important in promoting new technologies as they bring together both vendors and end users. We believe that, through the Alliance’s member activities, we can bring innovative value to the market.”
The SecFlow Industrial IoT Gateway with Edge Computing is a 3-time IoT Evolution award winner.
“I’m thrilled to welcome RAD to the LoRa Alliance® and look forward to its contributions as an IIoT solutions provider,” said Donna Moore, CEO and Chairwoman of the LoRa Alliance. “Industrial applications’ connectivity requirements align extremely well to LoRaWAN’s® strengths, and I look forward to learning about RAD’s work to integrate it with edge computing. RAD’s involvement in the LoRaWAN® ecosystem and collaborative approach highlights a key benefit of LoRa Alliance® membership and we welcome its engagement and support.”
