RAD Names Ilan Tevet as VP Marketing and Business Development

RAD, the global Telecom Access solutions and products vendor, has named Ilan Tevet as its new Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. In that position, Tevet will also join the company’s executive management team.

“Ilan brings to his new position two decades commitment to the company and has been instrumental in formulating our corporate strategy for the service providers market,” stated RAD President and CEO Dror Bin upon announcing the appointment. “He is an excellent fit for steering our marketing over the years ahead to ensure that RAD will continue to lead the industry in evolving the network edge,” Bin continued. “His vision positions RAD as the ultimate partner to help our customers get the best of all worlds: Service providers can deploy vCPE/SDN while keeping existing network operational procedures and service assurance, and critical infrastructure network operators can both migrate to cyber secure packet networks and keep their existing service assurance and reliability.”

Mr. Tevet originally joined RAD in 1997 as a technical support engineer and since then has filled a number of key positions, including Senior Product Line Manager, Key Accounts Manager, and Sales Director for strategic alliances with Tier 1 telecom vendors. Most recently, he served for the past four years as head of RAD’s Service Provider Line of Business.

Mr. Tevet holds a BA in business administration, information systems and sociology and an Executive MBA in marketing, business strategy and finance, both from Tel Aviv University.
A keen sportsman, Mr. Tevet is an avid mountain bike endurance racer and was Israel’s national rowing champion from 1987 to 1991.
